Kathmandu. Independent candidate for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balen Sah is still maintaining the lead.

According to the latest poll results, he has received 53,056 votes. He has a long lead over other competitors.

Similarly, his rival and CPN-UML candidate Keshav Sthapit has secured the second position with 33,166 votes. Earlier, he was behind Nepali Congress mayoral candidate Sirjana Singh.

So far, Sirjana Singh has received 33,105 votes. According to the Office of the Returning Officer, 1,64,560 votes of Kathmandu Metropolitan City have been counted so far.

The results of the local level election held on April 12 have reached the final stage.
